Lydia Grove is an estate rooted in the land and designed for gathering. Set on a historic Mellencamp family farm in Seymour, Indiana, the property brings together open space, thoughtful design, and a shared appreciation for celebration in all its forms.

Why the name “Lydia Grove”? Lydia was the last member of the Mellencamp family to steward this land before it was sold outside the family many years ago. Now that it has returned to the family, we are honoring the land’s history while welcoming new beginnings.

It has recently been sold back to the Mellencamp family and is now owned and operated by Chad and Sarah “Sadie” (Mellencamp) Hubbard with the support of many members of the Mellencamp family.

Today, Lydia Grove is home to outdoor/pavilion weddings and private events at The Lydia. It also offers full bar service, a small kitchen with rotating menus, seasonal agritourism experiences, and live music events. On site, there is a growing estate winery and brewery program with plans to begin offering tastings and selling our estate wine and hand-crafted beer beginning late Fall/early Winter 2026 when licensing is complete.
